Three Layers, Three Functions
The archive runs on three layers. Each serves a different purpose and ages at a different rate.
Layer 1: The Dispatches
Location: posts | Status: High volatility
These are snapshots of thinking at a specific moment. They are exploratory, sometimes raw, and occasionally contradictory. A post from 2023 may conflict with one from 2024. That is not an error. It is evidence of learning.
Read these for experiments, arguments, and real-time problem-solving.
Layer 2: The Zones
These pages organise the archive into five operational areas:
- Building O9X: The construction of the ERP operating system
- Operations: The day-to-day reality of managing manpower
- Founder Physics: The mental models used to keep the business alive
- AI for Operators: Practical automation, not theoretical discussion
- Field Notes: Observations from the work
Read these to navigate by topic rather than time.
Layer 3: The Source Code
Location: reference | Status: Evergreen
These are reference pages, not content. When my thinking changes, I edit them directly. They hold the current position.

The Dependency Tree
Most content here assumes you have read the Source Code first.
Build logs assume you know what O9X is. Founder Physics posts assume you understand why survivability matters more than scale. AI workflow posts assume you know my rules on automation.
If a post in Layer 1 contradicts a reference page in Layer 3, the reference page is the current authority. Old posts stay up as a record of what I used to believe. I do not delete them.
What This Site Is Not
It is not a startup advice blog. I do not know your context. I only know mine. It is not a marketing site for O9X. I am sharing the build, not selling the tool. It is not a productivity newsletter. The writing here comes from running a non-VC-backed, manpower-heavy business in India. The ideas were built in that specific context.
A Note on Idea Decay
Some posts here will age poorly. Constraints shift. AI renders old assumptions obsolete quickly.
When you see a conflict between an old post and a newer reference page, the newer page wins. That is the rule.
How to Navigate
For deep understanding: Start with a reference page. Then read the related posts as applications of those ideas. Use backlinks to see how a concept appears elsewhere.
For a specific topic: Use the Zones to find what you need. Read that post in isolation. Check backlinks for related thinking.
For chronological context: Browse posts newest first. Notice where the thinking shifts.
You do not need to read everything. This is a working archive, not a finished book. Test every idea against your own reality before you adopt it.
